Dr. Mansour Al Qurashi was appointed as Dean to College of Medicine-Jeddah, at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, reporting directly to the Vice President, Educational Affairs, KSAU-HS, for a two-year term. In this capacity, Dr. Al Qurashi will be responsible for the academic, administrative management and development of COM-J, KSAU-HS. This appointment will be in addition to his administrative, clinical responsibilities and duties at King Abdulaziz Medical City-Jeddah (KAMC-J).

Dr. Al Qurashi is a graduate of King Abdulaziz University, obtaining his M.B.B.S. in 1991. He joined the Pediatric Residency Training Program at KAMC-J (1992-1995) and completed his fourth (4th) year of residency training at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in 1996. He obtained a Diploma in Child Health in 1994, and both his Arab Board in Pediatrics and Saudi Board in Pediatrics in 1997. In pursuit of his clinical training, he was selected for a National Guard Health Affairs scholarship and completed a three (3) year Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship Program at the University of Manitoba, Canada (1999-2002). Upon his return to the Kingdom, he was appointed as Consultant Neonatologist, Department of Pediatrics, KAMC-J in 2002. He served as Deputy Director, Pediatric Residency Training Program, KAMC-J (2002-2004), Director, Pediatric Residency Training Program, KAMC-J (2004-2006), and Section Head, Neonatal Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, KAMC-J (2008-Present). He is a chairperson and member of several committees and is active in research with many presentations and publications.

Dr. Al Qurashi joined the COM-J, KSAU-HS as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in October 2010. He has been teaching and participating in all academic activities at KSAU-HS-Jeddah.

Dr. Al Qurashi was appointed as Director, Postgraduate Education and Academic Affairs, KAMC-J (2006-2010) and Associate Dean, Postgraduate Education, KSAU-HS in March 2010 to the present.
