Undergraduate Clinical Education Unit (UCE)

This unit is responsible for the execution of the clinical clerkship Phase where there is more emphasis on clinical science and hands-on exposure to clinical skills and to other skills related to Patient and Doctors, Community and Doctors, and Personal and Professional Development themes. The blocks in the phase are either integrated clinical attachment or clinical rotations.

Roles

  • Formulating the rotation schedule for the students in the clinical attachment period.
  • Preparing the schedules for lectures, PBLs tutorials, Patient-Doctor Theme, Community-Doctor Theme, Evidence based Medicine, and Personal and Professional Development Theme.
  • Encoding the Students assessment.
