KSAU-HS celebrated on Thursday 30 March 2017, a ceremony honoring the resident doctors in their 17th residency day, with the presence of H.E Dr. Bandar Al Knawy – Chief Executive Officer of Ministry of National Guard – Health Affairs, President of the University, also university’s Vice presidents, Deans, and Health Officer in Western Sector. The ceremony was held in the conference center – Jeddah campus. The honoring ceremony recognizes these competencies that determines the quality of health care provided in any healthcare establishment that seeks excellence, it also emphasizes that the resident physicians are the fundamentals in any health facility.
The ceremony started with recitation from the Holy Quran by Salah Alden Chalabi. After that, Dr. Amro Aqeel, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, and Resident Doctor in the Department of Surgery, explained that the graduates have started a new phase filled with high optimism and hope. As well as he stressed his thanks to Dr. Mansour Al Qurashi and Dr. Yasser Faden for their support of this event.
Moreover, Dr. Yasser Faden, the Associate Dean of Postgraduate Education, KSAU-HS in Jeddah, said “today, we celebrate the graduation of constellation doctors in various specialists. We also celebrate in this occasion with all our physician`s achievements and successes. It’s also a significant day for the Post graduate Studies and Academic Affairs to present their achievements over the past years, to plan further progress and to overcome challenges.”
Finally, Dr. Bandar Al Knawy praised the efforts in organizing this celebration to all directors and heads of departments in medical services and the university. He also urged everyone to join efforts and serve this nation.
