The Holy month of Ramadan 1434 is expected to commence Tuesday, 09 July 2013, corresponding to the Um Al Quraa Calendar.

• The official Eid Al Fitr holiday 1434 (2013) for all Administrative Staff is scheduled 25 Ramadan 1434 to 05 Shawwal 1434

Working hours during the Holy Month of Ramadan will be as follows:

• Muslim Administrative Staff – 10:00 to 16:00 hours
• Non- Muslim Administrative Staff – 08:00 to 17:00 hours

• The official Eid Al Fitr holiday 1434 (2013) for all Full-time University Academic Staff is scheduled Tuesday, 01 August 2013 (corresponding to 24 Ramadan 1434) to Monday, 12 August 2013 (corresponding to 05 Shawwal 1434). Accordingly, Academic staff’s first work day following the Eid Al Fitr break will be Tuesday, 13 August 2013 ( corresponding to 06 Shawwal 1434) and full-time University academic staff should report to their colleges no later than Saturday, 24 August 2013 ( corresponding to 17 Shawwal 1434) after taking their eligible annual (60) day leave during the summer.
• The start date of the Academic Year 2013/2014 (1434/1435) will be Saturday, 31 August 2013 (corresponding to 24 Shawwal 1434).

The Holy month of Ramadan 1434 is expected to commence Tuesday, 09 July 2013 (corresponding to 01 Ramadan 1434). As such, the official working hours for the University have been scheduled as follows:

• Muslin Academic Employees – 10:00 to 16:00 hours
• Non- Muslim Academic Employees – 08:00 to 17:00 hours
