A lecture titled “Media and Immunity”
Following the recommendations from King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences about including educational concepts in the Islamic culture curriculum to increase awareness of the negative impact of the media on the youth, the college has conducted a lecture titled “Media and Immunity” delivered by Dr. Ibrahim Al Muhanna, the Manager of Education and Guidance Department of the National Guards western region
During the lecture, many aspects of some media outlets and their negative impact were discussed. The lecturer also utilized some scientific concepts that students are familiar with to further explain his message. In addition, the lecturer emphasized the importance of understanding the fundamental concepts of Islam on a sound footing; he also encouraged the students employ the current media outlets in a positive way.
The lecturer concluded his lecture praising the level of engagement and interaction with the students, hoping to meet them again in another extracurricular activity.
