Course Description
This is a two credit hour course including a lab. It is intended to provide these students with tools to understand basic chemistry related to health sciences. The course consists of 17 lectures and four labs. The students will be given problem sets every two weeks for practice and to aid them in problem solving.
No prior knowledge in chemistry is assumed. Basic knowledge of the English language is assumed since the block is taught in English. Students are required to have background knowledge in high school algebra, including solving quadratic equations, equations with one unknown, and logarithms.
